Bengaluru is one of the few cities in India that offers the right mix of affordable and luxury properties. While affordable segment has been a preference among many, luxury real estate is now gaining momentum with the rise in disposable incomes of the professionals here. According to PropTiger DataLabs, there are a few posh localities that are hit among luxury property buyers. These localities are listed based on the number of units sold during January to March 2017.

Bellandur

Bellandur tops the chart when it comes to posh localities in Bengaluru. With many leading technology parks lying in proximity with Bellandur, the locality is connected to areas such as KR Puram and Whitefield via Outer Ring Road (ORR) . Some of the luxury projects in Bellandur includes Rohan Iksha, Mantri Espana, Prestige Kew Gardens, Adarsh Palm Retreat Villas and Embassy Pristine. With a price appreciation of 18.4 per cent in past six months, the average property price in Bellandur stands at Rs 5,722 per square foot.

Whitefield Hope Farm Junction

Whitefield has always been known for being home to some of the leading IT giants including Dell, IBM and Wipro. With a wide population of working professionals, the locality also has a wide range of luxury property to offer, too.  Some of the luxury projects in the locality are Raffles Residency Pvt Ltd Raffles Park, Vishnu Priya Parimala SkyView, Spectra Palmwoods and Sumadhura Silver Ripples. With a rise of 22 per cent in property prices in past 50 months, the average property price in Whitefield Hope Farm Junction stands at Rs 4,900 per square foot. 

Devanahalli

Devanahalli is witnessing coming up of a large number of IT and business parks. The locality is experiencing expansion in both commercial and residential real estate. Some of the luxury projects in the locality are Bonitas Developer Residency, Fortius Under the Sun, Amulya Valais, Ozone Urbana Heights and Dhammanagi Kings Ville. With a rise of 17.4 per cent in last six months, the average property price in Devanahalli stands at Rs 4,468 per square foot.

Hebbal

With a rise of 22.3 per cent in last six months, the average property price in KR Puram stands at Rs 4,161 per square foot.
