Here Are Mumbai's Top 5 Apartment Societies

India's financial capital Mumbai is considered a good place to live in, where autowallas always switch on the meter without arguing. While finding a good apartment society in Mumbai is a tedious task, people always look for areas close to Colaba Causeway, Fashion Street, Hill Road, Chor Bazaar and Linking Road. Since Mumbai is also a great city for career opportunities, people from different cities come here to find livelihood. 

PropGuide lists the top five apartment societies in Mumbai, ranked according to the number of units sold in the April-June quarter of 2016.
  • Radius Developers Chembur Phase-1

    The number one apartment society in the list is Radius Developers Chembur Phase-1, with 366 units sold in the quarter from April to June. The project will be launched soon, and will be made available for possession in December 2020. There are 924 apartment units in this project. Apartment sizes range from 365 sq ft to 1,337 sq ft. The project is spread over an area of 40 acres. Apartment units can be purchased from the developer. The amenities offered include a gymnasium, a children's pool, a clubhouse and a swimming pool. The project is in great demand because it is situated in a good locality. Chembur is situated on the harbour line, and is witnessing great development. The price of apartments in Radius Developers Chembur Phase-1 ranges from Rs 42.3 lakh to Rs 1.55 crore.

  • Kalpataru Immensa, Thane West
  • (Kalapataru Developers)

    Kalpataru Immensa, Thane West is second in the list, with 340 sold units in the April-June quarter. The project will be launched soon, and will be ready for possession by March 2020. The total area of the project is 108 acres. There are 1200 apartments in Kalpataru Immensa that vary within the range of 680 sq ft to 2,032 sq ft. The project has a clubhouse, a car parking lot, a swimming pool and rainwater harvesting systems. The apartment units are priced between Rs 53.7 lakh and Rs 1.61 crore. Thane West is one of the most promising localities in India. It is well connected to the Eastern Express Highway, and this makes commuting easier. The Thane police does a good job in maintaining safety in the locality. So, the project is a great place to live in. Apartment units can be purchased from the developer.

  • Haware Paradise, Bhiwandi
  • (Haware)

    The third in the list is Haware Paradise, Bhiwandi. This project has sold around 212 units in the April-June quarter April. The project is newly launched, and will be ready for possession by March 2019. There are 312 apartment units in this project. Apartment sizes range from 377 sq. ft. to 876 sq. ft., and can be purchased from the developer. The amenities offered include a swimming pool, a gymnasium, a clubhouse and landscaped gardens. Apartments in Haware Paradise are priced between Rs 1.41 lakh and Rs 32.9 lakh. This project is great place to live in, because it is situated in Bhiwandi. The cost of living here is quite reasonable. Apartments are affordable too.

  • Dheeraj Reality LivSmart, Kurla

    Dheeraj Reality LivSmart, Kurla, Mumbai is at the fourth position, with 160 sold units in the April-June quarter April. The project was launched in January 2016. It will be ready for possession in January 2019, and has 1,680 apartment units.  The project is currently under construction, and is spread over an area of 4.5 acres. The apartments in Dheeraj Reality LivSmart are sized between 615 sq ft and 925 sq ft, and can be purchased directly from the developer. Some of the amenities the project offers are a gymnasium, a children's play area and landscaped gardens. The price of apartment units range from Rs 83 lakh to Rs 1.12 crore. The locality is great to live in. Real estate prices are high in Kurla. Commuting is easy and there are good schools and offices in this area.

  • Puranik Tokyo Bay Phase-II, Thane West

    Puranik Tokyo Bay Phase-II, Thane West is at the fifth positon. 127 units were sold in the April-June quarter. The project will be launched soon, and will be ready for possession by December 2019. There are 462 apartments in the project. Apartment sizes range from 679 sq. ft. to 1, 049 sq. ft., and can be directly purchased from the developer. The amenities includes children's play area, rainwater harvesting system and power back up system. Apartment prices range from Rs 51.6 lakh to 79.7 lakh.
