According to the company website, the UB Tower at the Vittal Mallya Road is "the tallest structure in Karnataka as of date, measuring up to a height of 123 metres". However, it just ceased to be the cosliest residential property of Indian information technology (IT) capital.  A fresh assessment by the Stamps and Registration Department shows Puravankara Developers' "ultra-luxury project" at the Lavelle Road has pipped the UB Tower to snatch the distinction.

While the developer has an experience of over four decades in the industry, the project is comparatively new ― it was completed in the year 2013, and some units are up for grabs in resale. The project is made of 3 and 4 BHK units, with sizes ranging between 3,000 and 4,350 square foot.

Eyes on the price

According to the stamps department, property at the project is being sold for Rs 22,946 per square foot (sq ft) while a unit at the UB Tower would cost you slightly less, Rs 22,388 per sq ft. Apartments at the project are reportedly being sold currently for as much as Rs 13 crore. According to a listing on a property website, however, a 4BHK unit is up for sale for Rs 9 crore, at Rs 20,676 per sq ft. Apart from four bedrooms, the unit has on offer five bathrooms, two balconies “overlooking” the main road, a study and a puja room. As expected from a luxury project, the semi-furnished property would offer you marble floorings and two covered parking spaces. Not to mention the fact that you would enjoy uninterrupted power, water and security services.
