How To Track Your PMAY Application Status Online

February 15 2018   |   Surbhi Gupta

In order to make the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government's ambitious plan to provide housing to every citizen of India a reality, efforts are being made to make people aware of the benefits of this initiative. In a recent development of the Housing-for-All initiative, the applicants can now track their application status online. There are four components of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) under which any individual can claim benefit by proving his eligibility.

*In-Situ Rehabilitation: This is for the individuals who stay in slums and do not have a pucca house for their family.

*Beneficiary-Led Construction: Applicants who have their own land can get funds to construct/enhance the existing home.

*Credit-Linked Subsidy Scheme: Applicants who can afford to purchase land/home or modify their existing home can get the benefit under the credit linked subsidy scheme. This plan offers subsidy on the home loan.

*Affordable Housing in Partnership: Applicants who neither have any land to construct a house nor can they afford a home loan can claim the benefits under this plan.
