How to win the 'buying battle' for your new home?

This may sound basic, but you may be missing out on the most important discussion- the actual buying battle that you need to take care as soon as you move into our new home. Even if you have planned so well that you can completely imagine your new home to be decked up, but you end up baffled when you actually start looking for things you fancy for your new home.
