Madras HC Makes Display Of Planning Permit Mandatory At Under-Construction Project Sites
The Madras High Court recently made it mandatory for developers to display the planning permit for their under-construction projects at the construction site. The order was based on public interest litigations (PILs) filed against unauthorised constructions and pleas that the approved project plans should be made available by developers on their company website. The court also directed civic bodies to ensure that the permit was made 'clearly visible'.
