There is no doubt in the fact that Mumbai is the city of skyscrapers. There are over 3,000 high rises in the entire metropolitan region, the highest in India. This includes residential, commercial and retail complexes that are enhancing the look of Mumbai skyline.

Imperial II

Imperial II is the tallest tower in Mumbai as well as in India. It is a residential complex at 256 meters. With 60 floors above the ground, the tower is built in M P Mills Compound and offers duplex apartments above the 40th floor. Each of the apartment unit offers an outdoor deck with 150-270 degree view. The building is designed by Hafeez Contractor and constructed by Shapoorji Pallonji Group.

Ahuja Towers

Ahuja Towers is the second tallest tower in Mumbai and third tallest in India. Ahuja Constructions is the owner of this residential building which got operational in 2015. This 54 storey building has a height of 248 meters, offers 78 apartments and is home to several bigwigs of India, including Rohit Sharma, an ace cricketer of Indian Cricket Team. Located in Prabhadevi, there are seven exclusive apartments on the 40th floor and above. Wilson Associates of New York have done the interior designing for the project.

Lodha Bellissimo

Lodha Bellissimo is the third tallest residential tower in Mumbai, located in Mahalaxmi, height 222 meters above sea level. There are 48 floors in the building and offers large size 2,3 and 4BHK units. The building is designed by Geoffrey Bawa and offers 5BHK duplex penthouse with limited options available for sale. Each of the flat offers the view of Eastern Seaboard and cityscape.

 

Orchid Enclave 2

Orchid Enclave is currently under construction and is expected to be the fourth tallest livable tower in the Island city. Being constructed by DB realty, the building lies very close to Mumbai Central. With a height of 210 meters, Orchid Enclave will boast 52 floors, once completed.

Kohinoor Square Tower I

Kohinoor Square Tower is a 48 storey building which is nearing completion and would be ready for possession this year. It is a commercial tower with a height of 206 meters and will comprise of hotels, offices and retail shops. Located in Dadar, Kohinoor Square will boast two towers, both for commercial purposes.

Imperial Tower 1 & 2

A twin-tower residential skyscraper in the Tardeo area of Mumbai, Imperial Tower is one of the tallest buildings in Mumbai and India. This magnificent building was designed by famous architect Hafeez Contractor and enjoys a seafront location. Both the towers have private observation decks which are not open to the general public yet.

Antilia

One of the tallest and also the most talked about buildings in Mumbai, Antilia is the residence of industrialist Mukesh Ambani. Located at Altamount Road inMumbai, Antilia is said to be the world's most expensive home and features 3 helipads, a temple, spa, 2-storey recreation centre, swimming pools, a 50-seat movie theatre, a ballroom and a six-floor parking garage.

Planet Godrej

Located in the Mahalaxmi area of South Mumbai, Planet Godrej is one of the tallest towers in Mumbai and in the country. There is a huge amount of open space around the towers as only five per cent of the land was used for construction.

Mumbai World Trade Centre

The Mumbai World Trade Centre is another one of the tallest buildings in Mumbai and is located in the Cuffe Parade area of the city. Built in 1970, Mumbai World Trade Centre was the tallest building in South Asia until 2010 when the construction of Imperial Tower was completed.

Oberoi Trident

A glittering jewel of the famous Mumbai skyline, Oberoi Trident, Nariman Point offers spectacular views of Marine Drive and the city. Staying in one of the sea-facing rooms of the hotel makes for a truly delightful experience.
