Noida emerges as real estate paradise
With buildings growing taller and roads widening day by day, Noida — the so called poor cousin of Delhi — is marching forward to make its own identity. And as its first step, the city is drawing people from all directions. The migration trend, which had started from the IT and software companies moving to Noida, is now being followed by people looking forward for quality of life. According to the Getamber Anand of ATS Infrastructure, "Noida has evolved immensely over a period of time. Earlier it was the second choice after Gurgaon but now things have changed. It has come at par with Gurgaon. The stigma which was related to the residential areas of Noida when compared to Gurgaon , no longer exist. The infrastructural facilities like hospitals, school, shopping malls have been set up with huge sense of comfort, thereby improving the quality of life for the people residing here.
The fact that the real estate value in Noida has hiked itself explains the increasing demand of the residential houses. However, the rising prices in some sense is not a good sign for city's growth as they will make houses out of the reach of common men, which will again be a hindrance in its growth" , added Getamber. Though the rising prices cause worry for few, there are builders who find it sustainable. As Rakesh Purohit from Jaipuria Construction says, "People even from New Friends colony and other parts of South Delhi are shifting to Noida. Why? Because it offers quality of life at a reasonable price. There is huge difference in South Delhi real estate prices and that in Noida. And though the prices here are increasing, it's a moderate growth which is very much sustainable."
