Words are easy; they could sway in either direction on any issue. But facts and figures do not lie, nor do real estate prices. To form an opinion about a city's successes and failures, it works better to trust numbers than what people think or say, for real estate prices represent the collective actions of everybody living and working in a city, in monetary terms.

There often are claims that Gurgaon is a skyscraper city without a functional sewage system. However, if the infrastructural woes in Gurgaon outweighed its merits, people would not have migrated to this city in large numbers. Over half the Fortune 500 companies would not have leased office space in the city, if their highly skilled workforce was not willing to live and work there.
