Representatives of Mahindra World City, one of the latest property development firms  from Chennai in India, are in Doha  to meet potential customers. They are available for consultations at Gulf Paradise Hotel until April 9. The company officials are on the lookout for clients for their newly developed apartments, villas and deluxe villas coming in Mahindra World City, which, they said, is part of the $7.1bn worth real estate arm of Mahindra Group, which is one of the major corporate business groups in India. Mahindra World City is currently operational in Chennai and Jaipur. Mahindra World City, the promoters said, also offers world-class business infrastructure and high-end social and residential facilities in a composite work-live-learn and play environment. “Its unique plug-n-play format makes it simple for companies to integrate seamlessly into Mahindra World City,” said a company official. The company official also said the place offers excellent air/rail/road and sea connectivity to clients. The project, he said, is one of the best examples of the public-private partnerships, being jointly promoted by Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (Tidco) and Mahindra Group. Three special specific economic zones (SEZ) are located close to the township.
