#RealtyNewsRoundUp: 40 Mumbai Builders To Get Stop-Work Notice For Flouting Dumping Norms
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will issue stop-work notices to around 40 builders for violating the debris dumping conditions. In the past six months, the corporation has inspected 134 building construction and debris dumping sites. The authority has also stopped issuing new construction permits after the six-month interim relief on construction granted by the Supreme Court expired.

The Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) in Gurgaon has issued directions for immediate take-over of Sushant Lok-1 and Palam Vihar. The department said the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon can take over these colonies immediately, though it has been given 15 days to complete the process, if required. Both Sushant Lok-1 and Palam Vihar have been developed by Ansal Properties and Infrastructure Ltd.

The Noida administration is planning to issue special identity cards to farmers who will be giving their land for the Jewar International Airport project. These cards can be used to avail of different government facilities. These cards will enable farmers to avail of medical facilities in government and private hospitals as well as also ensure admission of their children in schools.

Real estate developers have claimed that they have been asked by the Gujarat government to physically visit Capital Gandhinagar to upload their documents on the Online Development Permission System (ODPS) that provides necessary building permission for upcoming projects. The state government had launched the ODPS five months ago, as an online solution for developers and builders.
