The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) is exploring the possibility of transferring complaints of all affected buyers at Amrapali projects to the state Real Estate Regulatory Authority. The trouble-hit realtor has to deliver 27,000 units in the Greater Noida (West) area.

The Rajasthan government has extended the deadline for developers to register under the state Real Estate Regulatory Authority. Now, developers can register with the authority till August 31, after paying four times the registration fee.

The Kerala government is planning to set up mini townships comprising 1,000 houses each for the homeless under the Livelihood, Inclusion and Financial Empowerment (LIFE) scheme in Kozhikode. Authorities concerned have started the process to identify suitable land to set up township under the LIFE scheme.

The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) is planning to charge low premium for commercial usages on industrial plots. The move may put further pressure on the cash-strapped civic body while benefitting unauthorised constructions and developers. The NMC has proposed to reduce premium from 20 per cent to 10 per cent for residential and 40 per cent to 20 per cent for commercial usages.
