Homebuyers, who have invested in a property with a completion certificate issued before March 31, will have to pay 12 per cent Goods and Services Tax on the remaining due they have to pay to the developer. This has been informed by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes in the second set of FAQs it released on May 15.
