Delhi's land pooling policy has hit another roadblock. Now, the Delhi Jal Board has said that it can't provide water in the areas to be developed under the new policy. The DJB is already struggling to meet the existing demand. It has to supply of 900 million gallons per day.
***Developers of group housing projects in Noida, who have owe money to the Noida Authority, can part-pay dues and receive a no-dues certificate till November. After getting a no-dues certificate, developers can get the occupancy certificate required for giving possession. The authority has extended this scheme with an aim to meet the target of delivering 16,000 flats to buyers in three months.

Telangana Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao will be laying the foundation stone for logistic parks at Bata Singaram and Mangalpally in Hyderabad. The parks will be developed under the public-private partnership (PPP) mode. While the 40-acre Bata Singaram Park at Hayatnagar Mandal will be built at a estimated cost of Rs 35 crore, the 22-acre Mangalpally Park at Ibrahimpatnam will need an investment of Rs 20 crore.

The Jharkhand government has allotted affordable houses to 20,051 families of the economically weaker section under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY) . Under the scheme, the state and the Centre contributed Rs 2.25 lakh towards construction of the 30 square metre houses built on the plots owned by the selected beneficiaries. The state has also declared all 41 urban-local bodies open-defecation free.
