#RealtyNewsRoundUp: Delhi Metro’s Pink Line Stretch Between Lajpat Nagar-Mayur Vihar Now Open For Public

The 9.7-km Lajpat Nagar-Mayur Vihar-Pocket 1 corridor of the Delhi Metro's Pink Line in now open for public. This stretch of the Pink Line was flagged off by Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia from the Metro Bhawan in New Delhi.  The new segment is part of the 59-km-long line, which spans from Majlis Park to Shiv Vihar.

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has proposed handing over absolute sale seeds to allottees of its civic amenity (CA) sites. So far, allottees are provided the land for a lease period of up to 30 years only.

Blackstone Group LP-backed Embassy Office Parks has received an approval of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) for listing its real estate investment trust (REIT) , through which it plans to raise Rs 5,000 crore. The company is likely to launch the REIT in the March quarter.

To prevent fraudulent property registrations, the registration department in Chennai will soon start video recordings of the process to buyers and sellers at all sub-registrar offices. The recording will serve as evidence and a second layer of protection for buyers and sellers.
