Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL) has decided to raise Rs 375 crore by issuing non-convertible debentures on a private placement basis. The company has proposed to issue 3,750 secured non-convertible redeemable debentures with a face value of Rs 10 lakh each, including greenshoe option on private placement basis. Read more

New Members of Parliament (MPs) in the next Lok Sabha staying in four and five star hotels and overstaying at government expense will be a thing of the past from the next general election. The government is building a new hostel complex which can accommodate 100 new legislators. According to sources, the cost of this project, coming up behind the Western Court complex on Janpath, would be around Rs 40-50 crore as against the expenditure of Rs 25 crore incurred during 2014-15 by the government for five-star accommodation of the new MPs.
