#RealtyNewsRoundup: DMRC Set To Start Work On Noida-Ghaziabad Metro Plan

The project to establish the first direct Metro link between Noida and Ghaziabad has started taking shape with the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) seeking a detailed project report from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) . The DPR is expected to be completed in six months.

The Greater Noida Authority has formed a 10-member team to expedite completion certificates for 24 group housing projects in the city. The aim of the team is to expedite issuance of completion to 12,000 residential units by August 15 this year, and hand over these units by Diwali this year.

Meanwhile, the GNIDA has uploaded details information about its under-construction residential projects on its website, www.greaternoida.com. The links created on the website will provide the progress of GNIDA's projects so that allottees do not have to visit the authority offices and will get updates and information online.

The three municipal corporations in the national capital have simplified the process of sanctioning building plans. Giving a push to the ease of doing business initiative, they have now introduced a single-window clearance system for construction proposals. A building plan will be cleared within 30 days after the submission of an application. If that doesn't happen, the proposal gets automatically sanctioned on the 31st day.
