#RealtyNewsRoundUp: Farmers Offered Three Times Of Circle Rate For Jewar Airport Land

The Uttar Pradesh government has agreed to offer farmers in Jewar a rate of Rs 2,300 per square metre (psm) for land that it wants to acquire for the proposed international airport. The rate is almost three times the current circle rate of Rs 900 psm.

After the Supreme Court recently allowed state-run builder national Building Construction Company to take over projects of insolvency-hit real estate major Amrapali, the Haryana Town and Country Planning Department has decided to adopt a similar stance. According to media reports, the department has cancelled the licence of 15 developers who have been building residential and commercials projects spread across Gurgaon, Faridabad, Hisar and Katnal.

Anand Vihar is all set to emerge as a major transport hub and one of the busiest interchange stations of the Delhi Metro network. It has now added a new station for the Pink Line to the existing Blue Line halt. Both are located close to the inter-state bus terminus and the railway station there. The integrated platform will have four lines, two for the Blue Line going towards Vaishali and Yamuna Bank, and the others towards Majlis Park and Trilokpuri.

The Maharashtra government is planning to allot land to state housing agencies for building housing projects for police personnel in major cities such as Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik, Thane, Navi Mumbai and Pune.
