#RealtyNewsRoundUp: Greater Noida Authority To Sell 1,246 Ready-To-Move-In Flats

Buyers have a chance to grab to purchase affordable units as the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority has launched a new scheme to sell a total of 1,246 ready-to-move-in flats in Sector 12 and Omicron 1. Interested buyers can apply online starting October 10. Prices of these units, which are in 1,2 and 3BHK configurations vary from Rs 28.50 lakh to Rs 74.50 lakh.

The first trial run of the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Metro rail project is likely to be conducted in January next year. The trial run will cover a 6.5-km stretch between Vastral and Apparel Park. In Phase-I, the Metro will connect suburbs in Ahmedabad along the east-west and the north-south axis. The route will be extended to Gandhinagar in Phase-II.

The West Bengal government is likely to come up soon with a Groundwater Act to put a stop on wastage of underground water as a result of over-extraction. The unchecked boring of tubewells in the city has dropped water levels alarmingly.

Under the new development control rule, builders in Mumbai will be able to construct more flats without a proportionate increase in the open space in a building. According to the new regulation, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation will calculate the development potential of a plot on its gross area, without deducting the area reserved for recreational ground.
