The Haryana forest department plans to de-notify 85 acres of forest land in the Aravalis in Gurugram where Nature Education and Cure Centre will be set up in public-private partnership mode. The land, along with another 500 acres, was repossessed by Haryana government in 2001. The 85 acres were presently being managed by the state forest department on behalf of the gram panchayat.
The Rajasthan government will soon organise camps to regularise illegal colonies and commercial shops constructed on residential properties across the state. An announcement in this regard will be soon be made by chief minister Vasundhara Raje at Sheheri Jan Kalyaan Shivir to mark the third anniversary of BJP govt.
Following the Karnataka High Court's dismissal of all pleas against the Akrama Sakrama scheme, the government is now mulling including properties constructed after October 19, 2013, for regularisation. At present, only properties constructed before October 19, 2013, are eligible for regularisation. Now, the government will have to reset the time frame of buildings termed illegal till a very recent date and then issue orders accordingly.
Realty firm Urmila Constructions and Developers has raised USD 25 million from UK-based investment firm Linetrust International Offshore to develop residential and commercial projects in and around Jharkhand. The fund will be used to develop budget-housing projects in Bokaro.
