Afraid that the Real Estate Regulation Act (RERA) may not help revive their delayed housing projects, Fight for RERA, a pan-India group, met Minister of State for Housing Rao Inderjit Singh to talk about developer-centric rules.

HDFC Ltd has announced to issue bonds worth Rs 500 crore today to meet long-term capital requirements. In a Bombay Stock Exchange filing, the company said it would issue secured redeemable non-convertible debentures on a private -placement basis for a year-and-a-half to raise the amount.

In an effort to rehabilitate oustees of Kherki Daula for the completion of the Dwarka Expressway, the Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) conducted the second draw of lots for allotting them alternate plots at Sector 37-C in Gurgaon. The draw will clear the way for connectivity of the expressway with the National Highway-8. The remaining oustees will be allotted plots in next draw to be held on August 29.
