#RealtyNewsRoundUp: Khattar Launches Haryana RERA Web Portal
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on October 4 launched the web portal of the Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (H-RERA) , saying this would ensure the sector becomes a planned one. There are two tabs on the official site, HRERA Panchkula and HRERA Gurugram. While the former site is meant specifically for homebuyers of the Millenium City, the latter could be used by homebuyers from across the state to raise their problems.

National Building Construction Company on October 4 said it would float tenders to select contractors to finish stuck projects of insolvency-hit Amrapali Group. The state-run construction company on October 3 received a go-ahead from the Supreme Court to start the process to pick developers that would help it finish 16 housing projects of the distressed realtor.

In order to “goad" them to complete pending work, the Ghaziabad Development Authority has decided not to give map approvals to developers who are yet to deliver projects. Official figures show there are 25 such real estate developers in the city. Earlier, FIRs were lodged against seven developers over their failure to deliver projects. However, the move did not make much impact, say authorities.

After over 2,000 protesters, which included representatives from homebuyers and business forums, staged a dharna in front of its office in Sector 6 on October 4, the Noida Authority has decided to roll back its earlier decision to impose parking charges on spaces outside the city's industrial units. It has also promised it would convert all leasehold properties into freehold, a long standing demand of the city residents.
