Description

To allow more non-forest activities, including real estate projects, in the ecologically fragile Aravalis, the ML Khattar government in Haryana has moved a proposal to amend a key provision in the Regional Plan of NCR 2021, which restricts using barely 0.5 per cent of land for "recreational activities".

If everything goes well, IT major Infosys will launch its operations for the entire northern region from Noida. The project is expected to be completed in two years. A team of officials from Infosys met Deepak Agarwal, CEO, Noida Authority, and submitted a revised layout plan for its Noida campus — the largest in north India. The IT giant is headed to Noida with a total investment of Rs 5,000 crore, of which Rs 2,500 crore will be invested in the first phase.

Real estate developer Emaar India has received the Occupancy Certificate (OC) for the second phase of its residential project The Palm Drive situated in Sector 66, Gurugram. The builder has received Occupation Certificate for 378 units in Premier Terraces, Palm Studios, and Palm Terraces, which are part of The Palm Drive project.

The Delhi high court on Wednesday banned all land transactions and building activities in the Tughlaqabad Fort area.  The directions came after the court went through a 'demarcation report' filed by Delhi government's revenue department. Court expressed concern over the "rampant and unabated" illegal constructions in the zone, despite SC prohibiting it and made it clear that no manufacturing or industrial activity would be allowed in the area anymore.
