Description

The Maharashtra Urban Development Department has issued norms for authorising illegal constructions. Illegal constructions carried out before December 31, 2015, in residential, commercial and industrial zones will be considered for declaration as “compounded structure” on payment of a penalty.

The North Delhi Municipal Corporation is planning to extend relief people living in unauthorised constructions built till December last year. Structures spread over a plot between 50 and 250 square metre will be able to get the benefit of the NDMC's amnesty scheme.

Two months after notifying rules, the Haryana government is in the process of constituting a Real Estate Regulatory Authority. A chairman and members of the body would be appointed by October-end. The state notified rules in this regard in July.

Real estate company M3M India has signed brand licence agreement with US-based The Trump Organization to develop Trump towers in Gurgaon. The structure will offer 180 luxury homes, at an average selling price of about Rs 10 crore. The Gurgaon-based developer will launch the Trump-branded twin-tower by November-end
