#RealtyNewsRoundUp: RBI Revises Income Limit Up To Rs 6 Lakh Under PMAY
The Reserve Bank of India has revised the existing limit for family income of Rs 2 lakh per annum for loans to housing projects for home construction for economically weaker sections (EWS) and low-income groups (LIG) , to Rs 3 lakh and Rs 6 lakh per annum, respectively under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Earlier, RBI has raised the housing loan limits under PMAY Rs 35 lakh in metro cities.

The Delhi Development Authority has approved new amendment made to the Delhi Master Plan 2021. Under the new amendments, liquor shops, pubs, discotheques and clubs will not be allowed to open on any floor of buildings falling in residential areas in the city. It was in May that the Supreme Court had issued a directive to the DDA to invite citizen feedback on the new amendment to which 814 objections and suggestions for shop-cum-residence category and 115 for godowns category were received within 15 days.

Mumbai will soon have a fresh supply of over six lakh homes as the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (Mhada) has given various kind of approvals to six proposals. The Mhada was allowed by the government to become the planning authority of over 56 colonies with 114 layouts and also, the homes being constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U) .

To recover depositers’ money and a multi-crore loan taken by the developer DS Kulkarni, the Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) will now auction their company’s Dhayari property. Earlier on June 18, the director of DSK Group was denied bail by the Supreme Court and asked to surrender within a week.
