The Rashtrapati Bhavan has partnered with information technology girant IBM to transform the Presidential Estate into a smart township. IBM has set up an Intelligent Operations Center to monitor and enhance the efficiency of critical infrastructure and utilities at Presidential Estate, spread across 330 acres. President Pranab Mukherjee said the smart presidential estate was a replicable model, which could be replicated in other parts of the country through citizen's engagement, public and private sector participation and deployment of intensive technologies. Global IT major Apple is in talks to lease over 40,000 square feet of office space in Bengaluru, where it intends to set up a development centre. The company had signed a letter of intent with Galleria, a mixed-use project in Bengaluru, a source said. Galleria is 3-lakh sq ft office space that belongs to Standard Brick Tile Company. Read more

 Mumbai-based non-banking finance company, Altico Capital has invested Rs 130 crore in two residential projects in Mumbai and the National Capital Region. Altico Capital has closed a Rs 50-cr transaction with Noida-based Lotus Greens group for a residential project 'Arena I', which is a part of a larger Sports City development zone at Sector-79, Noida. The funding proceeds will be utilized for construction of the project. Read more
