Considering the geographical vulnerability of the area as it falls in the seismic zone-IV, the Noida administration has made it mandatory for the district administration to conduct soil testing of the land before allotting a group housing plot. To ensure the compliance of the Disaster Management Act 2005, the district magistrate said the completion certification would only be given to a developer if the structure met the guidelines of the Act.

Nearly a month after Noida and Yamuna Expressway authorities had revised the circle rates, the Uttar Pradesh government has asked the Gautam Budh Nagar administration to provide the data of circle rate revision in the district in the past five years. The move comes after some real estate developers and homebuyers lodged a complaint, alleging unreasonable revision of circle rates which came into effect from August 1.

The Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor's (DMIC) Integrated Industrial Township in Greater Noida will open the sale of its plots by November this year. To come up at a cost of Rs 600 crore, the construction activity in the project is in the full swing.

To address the mounting problem of traffic congestion in and around its business districts, the Delhi Development Authority has decided to upgrade the infrastructure at its seven district centres in the city. Apart from constructing new bypasses and foot overbridges, the urban body also plans to channelise traffic and pedestrians. The project will be funded by the Union Urban Development Ministry.
