#RealtyNewsRoundUp: UP Govt Approves Jewar Airport Bid Document
The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved the Jewar International Airport bid document that has been prepared by professional services agency Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) . The document will now be sent to Union civil aviation ministry for clearance which may do the same by the end of this month.

The Supreme Court on December 12 asked court-appointed auditors going through the books of Amrapali Group to look and find out how the realtor siphoned off Rs 3,000 crore of homebuyers’ money. Chief Managing Director Anil Sharma on December 5 informed the SC that the company diverted that amount of money to expand other Amrapali businesses. In the latest hearing, the top court also grilled several accountants of the group, asking them on what basis did they create the statements for financial years 2015-16, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018.

The Noida Authority has launched the online bidding process for the sale of its 442 residential plots, located across sectors 12, 31,33, 39, 47, 48, 49,51, 52, 55, 70, 72, 93B, 99, 100, 105 and 122. In a nine-day bidding process that would continue till December 21, each plot would be sold separately.

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has decided to first slap distress warrants and then attach properties of those defaulters who have not paid their dues despite several warnings. Officials will identify 100 top defaulters in each assistant revenue office zone, and launch the action, say media reports.
Meanwhile, the BBMP has decided to adopt the e-Office software developed by the National Informatics Centre that will allow it to go paperless and streamline workflow.
