Bharatiya Real Estate Development and its directors have been directed by market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) to refund the money they had illegally raised through redeemable preference shares. Sebi has ordered the company to refund the money along with an interest of 15 per cent per annum. Read more

 

Sanjiv Goenka, the chairman of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group is entering the real estate sector. The group has set up a subsidiary called Quest Properties India. It plans to develop about 1.2 million sq ft of residential and commercial space in West Bengal and Maharashtra. Read more
