Registration for DDA Housing Scheme 2014 Opens - Things You Need to Know
Your wait is finally over! Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched its largest ever housing scheme with 25,034 flats on offer majorly located across Rohini, Dwarka and Narela. Other than these localities there are a few flats in Mukherjee Nagar, Jasola, Kalyan Vihar, Jahangirpuri, Vasant Kunj, Shalimar Bagh and Motia Khan as well.

Eligibility:
The scheme invites applications from Indian nationals above 18 years of age.
You should not own any property in part or full in Delhi, New Delhi or Delhi Cantontment either in your name or in your spouse or dependent children.
If you are applying under EWS category then your annual income should not be more than 1 lakh per annum.
You should have a PAN card and need to furnish the details for the same in your application form (except for EWS category) .
Application Forms:
You can buy the brochure for Rs. 150 from select branches of 13 banks empanelled by the DDA. Unlike the previous schemes, forms are not available with Vikas Sadan this year.
The 13 banks include Punjab National Bank, Syndicate Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, IDBI Bank, ICICI Bank Ltd, State Bank of India, Union Bank of India, Indusland Bank, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Yes Bank, HDFC Bank and Axis Bank.
Alternatively, the DDA was initially allowing people to download the brochure from their website. However, the site crashed on Monday and now you will be redirected to the bank web page to download it.
Online payment can be made through NEFT/RTGS/net banking application at the bank's website. E-payment through credit/debit card is not accepted.
No document at all needs to be attached with your application form.
Registration Fee:
For EWS category it is Rs 10,000 and for people applying in General category it is Rs 1 lakh to be paid either as a bankers' cheque or demand draft in the favor of DDA Housing.
To ensure that only genuine people get the benefit of this scheme, DDA has for the first time introduced a five-year lock in period, where conveyance deed would be given after five years.
