Tata Housing enters Ahmedabad with Shubh Griha

Tata Housing, a pan-India real estate developer, recently entered the Gujarat market with the launch of Shubh Griha, the company's value-housing brand in Ahmedabad. The project will be developed along with Arvind Real Estate under the banner of Arvind & Smart Value Homes LLP, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) created to develop a mega integrated sustainable green township, spread across 135 acre. Every little amenity has been planned keeping in mind the Gujarat way of life. The project is strategically located on Vadsar-Kalol road, near Arvind Mills campus. Shubh Griha Ahmedabad will offer one RK, one BHK and 1.5 BHK apartments priced between Rs 7.92 lakh and Rs 12.33 lakh, the company said in a statement. Brotin Banerjee, managing director and chief executive officer of Tata Housing, said, “Following the success of Shubh Griha at Boisar and Vasind in Maharashtra and coupled with an extensive consumer demand from the low and medium income consumer segments, we are happy to introduce this brand in Gujarat. As part of our long-term strategy, we are looking at establishing our presence in the emergent tier I and tier II cities. This partnership with Arvind will help us tap into Gujarat, which is an important market for township projects.” Shubh Griha, a part of integrated township project, is designed by internationally renowned architectural firm HoK of Toronto. According to the statement, the project will follow an integrated sustainable township approach and is conceptualised by Tata Housing. “This project and partnership with the Tatas is one more end­eavour from Arvind to enhance the lifestyles of consumers across varied segments,” said Sanjay Lalbhai, CMD of Arvind. Shubh Griha will offer amenities and experiences such as a balanced mix of construction and open spaces, maximum lighting and ventilation for all apartments, large, centralised and accessible open spaces, courtyards, recreational facilities, a hospital, school and a community centre with a gym, among others, the company said in the statement.
