#WeeklyNewsRoundup: CIDCO Issues Eviction Notice To Illegal Structures In Navi Mumbai
The CIDCO has slapped eviction notices on 490 illegal structures that have cropped up on its land in the Navi Mumbai area. The town planning body has been carrying out a survey to update its data on illegal constructions. The CIDCO said action would soon be initiated against the remaining constructions.

The Rajasthan government has extended the deadline for developers to register under the state Real Estate Regulatory Authority. Now, developers can register with the authority till August 31, after paying four times the registration fee.
*** The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced that it has received more than 1.5 lakh applications under the affordable housing scheme, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) . Of the total number, 1.13 lakh applications were filed online while the remaining 39,000 were received offline. The civic body will hold the first round of lottery by October end.
*** The Bombay High Court has ordered for the auction of Sahara Group Chief Subroto Roy's Aamby Valley property at Lonavala in Maharashtra. The property will be auctioned for a reserve price of Rs 37,392 crore. The aim of the auction is to recover the pending dues to various lenders.
