The Central Peripheral Road (CPR) project will be handed over to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) , with the Haryana Urban Development Authority failing to construct the 3.2-km stretch. The HUDA has already acquired 102 acres of land for Rs 700 crore around six months ago. NHAI officials told media that the CPR would be constructed along with the remaining portion of the Dwarka Expressway
The Central government will start work on a plan to build second airports at all cities, where the primary airports have saturated or reaching saturation. The government had in June last year announced a new aviation policy that aimed at improving regional connectivity across the country.
From July 1 this year, leasing of land, renting of buildings and equated monthly installments paid for the purchase of under-construction properties will start attracting the Goods and Services Tax. However, sale of land and property will remain out of the purview of the new tax regime
