Yuga Homes launches Yuga Alta Vida project in Chennai.

Yuga Homes Ltd,  announced the launch of its maiden residential project Yuga Alta Vida on the OMR road in Chennai. The project, combined with modern apartments with landscaping and ample open spaces, is coming up at Thaiyur, opposite to SSN Engineering College on the OMR in the city. Addressing a press conference here, Mr R Viswanathan, President, Yuga Homes, said the company proposed to develop about six lakh sq ft in five acres of land. He said Alta Vida is designed as a high-end residential project and would consist of 600 apartments in single, double and three bed room options, ranging from 570 sq ft to 1,300 sq ft carpet areas. "Based on the tenets of new urbanisation, Alta Vida seeks to offer its residents, a commercially vibrant, aesthetically attractive place to live, work and play," Mr S Srivarama Krishnan, Managing Director, CCCL, said. He said the project would be built in two phases with a total investment of Rs 200 crore. In phase-I, 400 apartments would be constructed in about three acres of land with an investment of Rs 150 crore and it would be completed by 2013. The second phase would have 200 apartments and it would be completed by 2014 with an investment of Rs 50 crore, they said, adding the minimum price for a single bed room flat would be Rs 15 lakh and the three bedroom flat would cost Rs 30 to 32 lakh, they said.
