In what is being pegged as the most expensive deal of the year, Birla group's Kumar Mangalam Birla has become the owner the exemplary Jatia House, a 30,000 sq ft two-storied bungalow on Little Gibbs Road, Malabar Hill, Mumbai. The iconic bungalow, which was up for sale for quite some time, was previously owned by Y Jatia, who had bought if from M C Vakeel in the 1970s.
