With 150 per cent growth in average property prices in past 48 months, Teynampet has emerged as the most preferred location for those looking for luxury property in Chennai. Lying in close proximity to the city centre, Teynampet has plenty of commercial set ups along with luxury properties. A posh locality, it has as many as four to five-star hotels and a political party's office, too. The locality is in proximity to the Chennai Central Railway Station (7.9 kilometres) and the Chennai International Airport (13.5 kilometres). It is also connected to the Nagapattinam Chennai Highway. Abiramapuram
