Flaunting gyms and health clubs in a residential project descriptions is passe; real estate developers now offer professionally-run sports amenities to score better. Projects advertisements reading that academies will provide professional training for different sports at their projects is fast catching up. Developers from Mumbai, the Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR), and Bengaluru are warming up to these themes to offer an international-class feel for those looking for super-luxury homes in India.

Delhi-NCR takes the lead

Running, jogging and even cycling tracks have become common amenities offered by real estate projects at large. But, to cater to high-end home buyers, real estate developers are coming up with exclusive sports amenities including cricket grounds, golf course, tennis, soccer, and also, hockey fields.

The latest for the uber-luxury segment of Delhi is cricket academies and soccer fields. The Corridors by Ireo in Sector 79, Gurgaon offers a complete indoor and outdoor sports services run by professionals. Embassy Pristine at Koramangala in Bengaluru too is one such sports-themed project, which has a clubhouse and a multi-sport complex. The sports club here is designed by professionals in the hospitality industry and is operated as a club. The club has two swimming pools, both an indoor heated pool and an outdoor pool. It has a gym, sauna and steam room with an aerobics and meditation hall. The multi-sports complex has badminton court, basketball court and a squash court. It also has indoor games such as pool table, board games and table tennis.

Nitesh Estates too is developing a number of sports themed homes such as Nitesh Wimbledon Park at Race Course Road in Bengaluru, Nitesh Flushing Meadows and Nitesh Wimbledon Gardens.
