Caitlyn Jenner Has Moved To The Hills
Caitlyn Jenner, reality Television star and former Olympic champion formerly known as Bruce Jenner, now has a secluded home in Malibu. This $ 3.57 million home designed by James Hernandez was bought by its previous owners after it was used on the Season 9 of 'The Bachelorette'.
Though she has lived in many homes before, this is the first home Caitlyn bought for herself. Its previous owners listed the home for $ 3.9 million, but it was sold at a discount to Caitlyn. Spread on 11 acres, Caitlyn Jenner's new home has four bedrooms, a glam room, a swimming pool and spa. The house is on a private road, and is surrounded by picturesque hills.
The entrance of the house has natural wood beams, and the entrance hall has Brazilian walnut floors. The living room has sliding glass doors, and the kitchen has a breakfast bar. There is also an entertainment area with a large screen television and a fireplace. The home has three and a half bathrooms, including a spacious master bath. Throughout the home, there are large floor-to-ceiling windows. Her glam room in her new home, bought when she was undergoing a gender transition, is packed with women's clothes.
Most celebrities prefer Malibu homes where they can step on to the beach. But, unlike most celebrity Malibu homes, Caitlyn's home is not on a beach. It is on the hills, and looks over the entire coastline. From her home, she can have a 360 degree view of the oceans, canyons and the landscape. The Malibu home looks very much like a California ranch, with the lighting designed to perfectly complement the Mediterranean landscape in the night. "It was perfect for Caitlyn for when she was transitioning, because it is so secluded," Hernandez said in an interview with Realtor.com.
When Caitlyn's Malibu home was published in the media, Hernandez also said that he is glad that its original design is largely left intact.
