Investing in real estate has been quite the fad among Bollywood stars. And Mumbai, Bollywood’s home, has been the favourite choice for real estate investments. Following the footsteps of his father, who has an impressive list of properties in Mumbai, Abhishek Bachchan and wife Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan have recently invested a large sum, booking a luxury apartment on Annie Besant Road, Worli in Mumbai.
The 41.14 crore apartment has 5 bedrooms along with a family room, dining room , living room , dry and wet kitchens and 20 feet terraces on all the sides, which are one of a kind. The apartment is on the 37th floor of Skylark Towers in Worli. Beside the large sum of 41.14 crore , the stamp duty comes to around 2.05 crore. Added to it are development charges worth 35 lakh and a separate club house membership of 25 lakh.

This “Aashiyana” of the younger Bachchan couple is a flawless milieu of luxury, glamour and comfort in the heart of Mumbai city. Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan’s real estate history has been as glamorous and historic as her Miss World title. She recently bought a 4 bedroom apartment in Worli itself, and also a villa in Dubai, which apparently was a birthday gift for their daughter Aaradhya.
Worli is a prime location in Mumbai, located right on the banks of the Arabian Sea and surrounded by Haji Ali, Mahalaxmi and Prabha Devi .The real estate sector in this area offers some of the most premium properties in Mumbai. It has around 70 finished, 18 ongoing and 9 upcoming projects which includes apartments, villas, studio apartments and penthouses. Being primarily a commercial area, the few flats in Worli tend to border the sea and offer a high level of privacy, which in itself is a luxury in Mumbai. No wonder, both Aishwarya and Abhishek have made their investments here.
This new house is equipped with all luxurious amenities and the Bachchan couple must be quite excited to throw the coolest house warming party in the city, soon.
