The Rajya Sabha Select Committee on Real Estate Bill has invited suggestions from public, experts and other stake holders on the Bill. The suggestions have to be received within 10 days.

The Prime Minister will launch the Smart Cities Mission and Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) with much fanfare by the end of June. It will unveil the roadmap for developing 100 smart cities and 500 AMRUT cities in India over the next five years.
The Maharashtra government has asked all builders to pay FSI premium to the BMC for building extra areas. The decision has come after much criticism to a notification issued by the government earlier, that had exempted certain builders from paying the premium.
