Of the 98 cities selected for the Smart City Mission, 85 cities have submitted their proposals to the Union Urban Development Ministry within the specified time. Sixty-eight proposals were received by the ministry on the last day of submission. Read more
The Centre for Environmental Sciences of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has been awarded the smart city project on climate change. The project sponsored by the Toyota Foundation in collaboration with Kyoto University, Japan, is a part of a mega project known as “Limit to Urbanisation: Application of Integrated Assessment for Smart City Development in India”.
