The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will be floating the tenders for developing three integrated sub-cities in Dwarka, Narela and Rohini next month. Also, the work for the Yamuna river front development will start by October. The DDA will invite bids in the second week of August. The authority has proposed to develop integrated cities with smart features on available vacant lands at Dwarka (200 hectares), Narela (218 hectares) and Rohini (259 hectares)

The Delhi High Court has said the national capital "will breathe" easier if it stays all the conversions of residential property to commercial use that have not adhered to the Masterplan requirements. The high court expressed concern over the large number of coaching institutes in residential areas of the city, causing parking woes and other inconveniences to residents.

Tata Housing is planning to add 8-10 projects to its portfolio in 2017-18, involving an investment of up to Rs 800 crore. These projects will be a combination of greenfield and brownfield projects, the company has told media.
