#RealtyNewsRoundUp: Gurgaon-Mumbai Expressway To Be Extended Till Delhi
Description
After initiating the land acquisition process for the Gurgaon-Mumbai expressway project, the government is planning to extend the road to Delhi. A new eight-lane road would be built connecting the Western Peripheral Expressway (WPE) with the DND Flyway in Delhi. The connecting road would be about 58 km and the construction cost would be around Rs 2,000 crore.

The Uttar Pradesh government has directed all development agencies to maintain two separate accounts ─ one for city-level infrastructure and the other for area-level infrastructure developments. Earlier, a certain portion of the development agencies' earnings was deposited in a common pool for infrastructure development.

Top developers in Bengaluru have bid for a land parcel of 14 acres being sold by engineering and construction giant Larsen & Toubro (L&T) in the city. The land parcel is estimated to fetch the company up to Rs 10 billion. The land has development potential of four million square foot, and it could become the largest land deal in south India this year.
