The Maharashtra government plans to set up 50 industrial parks across the state for an investment of Rs 300 crore to promote job creation among micro, small and medium enterprises. While presenting the Budget for the financial year 2019-20 on June 18, the state government also allocated Rs 100 crore for the construction of houses for differently-abled.

The housing ministry on June 18 said that it has not received any proposal from the Delhi government to construct homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U). The Central ministry is mandated to implement and provide financial assistance to those constructing houses under the scheme.
