Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the work on the plans of 20 smart cities on June 25. The PM, who will unveil the Smart Cities Mission project in Pune, will launch 14 projects in the city. Sixty nine similar projects will be launched in other cities at a cost of Rs 1,770 crore. These projects include improving water supply, sanitation and creating open and green spaces. Read more

TPG Capital will buy ICICI Home Finance for Rs 2,200 crore. According to media reports, ICICI had to lower its expectations by nearly half.
