The 41-hectare Kanjurmarg salt pan land in Mumbai which was first identified for the Colaba-SEEPZ Metro-III car shed will now be used for Metro-VI. This elevated line is from Swami Samarth Nagar (Lokhandwala, Andheri West) via Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road to Kanjurmarg.

The Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Board (UPHDB) will now issue online tenders for projects worth less than Rs 1 crore. Earlier, the board used to issue online tenders for only projects whose cost was above Rs 1 crore. The move is expected to bring transparency into the tender process.

The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) had taken over Lavasa Corporation after receiving a government resolution. The order has been issued by the state urban development department to review all permissions and sanctions issued from December 4, 2015, as the special planning authority (SPA) status of Lavasa stands cancelled from that date.

Residents opposing CIDCO's plans to have a development zone adjacent to the wetlands at Palm Beach creekside at Nerul have finally seen success. Reacting to the complaint, the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) has sought an explanation from CIDCO in this matter.
