#RealtyNewsRoundUp: Noida Authority Approves Delhi-Noida Elevated Road
Noida Authority announced a budget of Rs 4,350 crore for 2018-19 on April 26, which is a staggering Rs 3,720 crore less than last year's allocation of Rs 8,070 crore. In the budget, the Authority has hiked the one-time lease rent by 15 per cent with effect from August 1, 2018. Apart from this, it approved the elevated road over Shahdara drain starting from the Chilla regulator near Sector-14A to Mahamaya Flyover. The Authority has also set the guidelines for the paying guest policy and will take residents' feedback for the same and will then implement the new policy.

With the upcoming new corridors of Delhi Metro, commuters will be under scrutiny from the moment they enter the metro premises. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is installing state-of-the-art CCTV cameras at its new corridors that will become operational this year, taking the total number of cameras in the metro network from the present 9,029 to more than 13,000. At present, there are 183 operational stations in the Delhi Metro network, which will go up to 227 this year with the opening of the remaining sections of the Magenta and Pink Lines

Union Housing Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said that the government would meet the target of construction of 72 lakh household and public toilets in urban areas under the Swachh Bharat Mission a year ahead of the schedule of October 2, 2019. As on March 31, around 52 lakh individual household toilets and 3.2 lakh public toilets have been built, said Puri.
