1. World One, Mumbai:
World One, Mumbai, is a Rs. 20 billion tower project that has generated immense interest in India's realty market. This 442-meter high residential project in India is being built by architects Pei Cobbs & Partners. The under construction property in Lower Parel is owned by the Lodha Group. The starting price for each new apartment starts at a whopping Rs. 75 million. This luxury project in Mumbai will have 117 floors and is expected to be completed by 2016.
2. Brys Buzz, Noida:
Brys Buzz, Sector 150, Noida, is an upcoming residential project in India. It is about 300 meters high. The interior has been designed by the famous Tonino Lamborghini CASA. It is expected that this luxury project in Noida will have aesthetically designed spaces with breathtaking interiors on all 81 floors. Also, eco- friendly features like rainwater harvesting and solar panels for energy will be there. This building is said to have zero discharge of waste water.
3. Oasis Tower 1, Mumbai:
Oasis Tower 1, Mumbai, will be 372 meters tall. This tower is going to be developed as a joint venture between Sahana and Oberoi Realty. Kohn Pedersen Fox, USA, has designed this skyscraper next to the Thappar House, Worli, and will have a mix of a luxury hotel, offices and retail spaces.
4. M3M Golf Estate 1, Gurgaon:
M3M Golf Estate 1, Gurgaon, is located on the upcoming Golf Course Road. This luxury project in Gurgaon is spread over 75 acres, and is designed by the Canada-based architecture firm Arcorp International. The upcoming apartments in Gurgaon are designed in such a way that they all face the 9-hole executive golf course. This complex has a mixture of low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise buildings, including a tower with 60 floors.
5. Royale, Mumbai:
Palais Royale, Mumbai, is 320 meters tall and is developed and constructed by Shree Ram Urban Infrastructure Ltd. It has received platinum rating in terms on environmental sustainability. This tall building has 120 apartments with amenities such as a cinema hall, spa, cricket pitch, basketball court and three swimming pools.
6. North Eye, Noida:
North Eye is Noida's upcoming skyscraper that can be termed as one having a solar building design. The building's height is 255 meters. The engineers have especially worked with solar thermodynamic principles, taken advantage of the local climate to optimally use solar energy. A tall residential complex of 66 floors, this project includes restaurants and a helipad on the roof.
7. Lokhandwala Minerva, Mumbai:
Lokhandwala Minerva, Mumbai, is 307 meters tall and offers lavish apartments and duplexes with breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea, Mahalakshmi Race Course and the city. Located in Worli, the skyscraper is a certified green building, and the engineer has built a rainwater harvesting system. The infrastructure is designed in such a manner that the parking space, garden area and residential floors complement one another. In fact, the new luxury apartments in Mumbai in this 82-floor building will be on the top floors, from the 26th floor onwards.
8. Supernova Spira, Noida:
Supernova Spira, Noida, is LEED certified, which means that it is considered as a green building. From this upcoming skyscraper, which will be 300 meters in height, one would be able to get a bird's eye view of the entire Noida and the bird sanctuary nearby. It will be a mixed development project of retail space, commercial complexes, hotels, service apartments and residential complexes.
9. The 42, Kolkata:
The 42, Kolkata, is being built right at the center of the city in Chowringhee. It is the first skyscraper to be built in Kolkata, with a height of 252 meters. This building will have 56 residential complexes and duplexes on the top two floors. There is also a provision of a multi-level parking. The building is called “The 42” because of the address “42B”. It is a much-awaited infrastructure project in Kolkata, but is facing legal hurdle in the Calcutta High Court.
10. Wave One Tower, Noida:
Wave One Tower, Noida, with a height of 140 meters is designed by leading architects -- US, BBG and BBGM. It is a multi-purpose tower. The height of the tower might not seem impressive, but it comes across as an eye-catcher in Sector 18. Located in the middle of Atta Market, this tower will have parking space for 2,600 cars and retail shops on the ground floor. The twin towers will have 37 floors on one end and 40 floors on the other.
