Vandavasi is a municipality in Tiruvanamalai district of Tamil Nadu. It is situated 123.8 kilometres from Chennai. The area is known as the battleground of the Battle of Wandiwash between the United Kingdom and France, for controlling south Asia. The Vandavasi Fort is a tourist spot which is visited by hundreds every week.
