Vengurla is a prominent suburb in northern Goa. The area is encased by beautiful and green hills dotted with berry, cashew, coconut and mango trees. The Arabian Sea is located to the west of the locality. The locality has witnessed huge development in recent times and the Vengurla real estate market has received a boost on account of the same. There are various parks and hospitals that were built during the British Raj. The Vengurla Municipal Council is the oldest such council in the whole of Maharashtra.
The locality is also home to several tourist attractions including the Lighthouse, Mochemad Beach, Terekhol Beach, Velaghar, Dutch Fortified Factory, Kalvi Beach and the Mansishwar Temple among others.
